I paid by transfer but it still shows Due

Transfers are confirmed by the bank, usually within minutes. If you sent exactly the amount shown to the one-time account on your checkout, it clears on its own. If you sent a different amount, or to an old account, tell support and quote the reference on your checkout. Every transfer that reaches MyLevy is matched or traced. Please don’t send it again while you wait.

Who pays the MyLevy fee?

Your space decides. Members pay the fee on top of the levy, or the space covers it. Either way the checkout shows the levy, the fee and the total before you pay. The fee per payment is: Payments up to ₦100,000: ₦250; ₦100,000.01 to ₦999,999.99: ₦350; ₦1,000,000 and above: ₦500.

How does paying ahead work if the levy goes up?

You see what you are paying for before you pay, and one fee covers the whole payment. Your money goes to the oldest month first. If your space raises the levy, you may owe a top-up for the months you have paid ahead, on their due dates. Each top-up is a normal due. If the levy falls, nothing you paid is cancelled. Lowering how far ahead people may pay cancels nothing. Reminders skip the months you have covered, and your space’s ledger shows how much was paid in advance.

Can I pay without the app?

Yes. Open the pay link from your reminder or your space’s group chat, confirm who you are with a code to your phone, then pay by transfer. You get the same receipt.

How do saved cards work?

Accepted Answer

You type your card on the payment gateway’s own page. MyLevy never sees your full card number or CVV, and only keeps the last four digits, the expiry and the gateway’s reference. A saved card is only charged when you tap Pay and enter your PIN. Nothing is ever taken automatically. Paying by card can add a card surcharge. It shows as its own line before you confirm.

Can somebody else pay for me?

Your space’s leaders can pay on behalf of the members they look after, where the space allows it. The receipt says who paid and whose dues it covered.

How do I verify a MyLevy receipt is real?

Accepted Answer

Open the link on the receipt, scan its QR code, or enter its code on the Verify a receipt page. A real receipt shows Verified by MyLevy, Valid. If nothing is found, don’t accept it as proof of payment.

Where do I find my receipts?

Every successful payment has a receipt under Payments in the app. Open one to download it as a PDF or share it.

Do I keep my receipts if I leave a space?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Leaving a space ends your membership. It does not change your payment history or that space’s ledger.

How do I start a space?

Choose what kind of group you run, name it, add your bank account and invite people. Share the link or code with your group.

Can we rename Unit and Block Rep?

Yes. Each space chooses its own words, such as Street, Block, Zone or Class, and its own name for the leader of each one.

Can we show our ledger publicly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A space can make its ledger public. Anyone with the link then sees money in, approved spending and monthly totals, and never a payer’s name.

How do I hand my space to somebody else?

Accepted Answer

Open your space’s settings and choose Transfer ownership. The new Owner accepts it with their PIN, and until they do nothing changes.

Where does the money go after a member pays?

Your levy settles in full to your space’s own bank account, as soon as the payment goes through. The MyLevy fee is shown separately at checkout. Agents never touch your money.

Why does changing our bank account take 24 hours?

To protect your group. A new settlement account waits 24 hours, and the Owner and every Admin are told by SMS and email. Any Admin can cancel it during that time.

Our payout looks late. What do we do?

Open Settlements in your space to see each payout and its status. If one failed, it says why. Use Report a problem on the payout and it reaches MyLevy Support with its reference.

How is my agent commission worked out?

Accepted Answer

The gateway cost of ₦100 comes off the MyLevy fee first. You earn 40% of what is left on every payment in spaces you onboarded. If you recruited the agent who onboarded a space, you earn 10% of it from MyLevy’s share. It never reduces theirs.

Does it cost anything to become an agent?

No. Nobody may charge you to join, train or start. Report anyone who asks.

When can I withdraw my earnings?

Accepted Answer

Earnings are held for a short period, then become available. Your Agent Desk shows what is held and when it releases. Each payment has its own line, and corrections appear as new lines.

MyLevy asked for my PIN. What do I do?

MyLevy staff never ask for your PIN, password or codes. Don’t share them, and report the request to support.

I forgot my PIN

Accepted Answer

Choose Forgot PIN on the PIN screen. We send a code to your phone, and you set a new PIN. We tell you whenever your PIN changes.

How do I change my phone number?

Accepted Answer

Open your profile and change it there. We send a code to the new number to prove it is yours, and an alert about the change.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Accepted Answer

Open Privacy and data and choose Download my data. We email a link to your verified email address. It lasts 72 hours.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Open Privacy and data, then Delete my account. The screen lists anything to clear first, such as a space you own or an agent balance. Then you confirm with your PIN and a code. It happens straight away and can’t be undone. Payment records are kept for legal reasons, unlinked from your profile.
